Another spin on the caveman look is to go for a celebrity caveman. So you might choose to don a Fred Flintstone fancy dress costume of a Stig of the Dump fancy dress costume. Your options are going to be fairly limited though as not many cavemen became big television stars.
Stig of the dump was famously surrounded by his five children friends who discovered him and looked after him. So you could have one person dress up as Stig of the Dump and a group of others dress up as nerdy 40s children.
Fred Flintstone always had his wife Wilma his pals Barney and Betty Rubble. So that would make a great fancy dress idea for two pairs of couples.
