The film and book Clockwork Orange is centred round a group of thugs, called Droogs, who terrorise their town by breaking in to homes and generally rampaging around. They are depicted as being dressed all in white and they have a particular penchant for hats, masks, codpieces and canes. Luckily all these items are easily available and you can put together a convincing clockwork orange outfit pretty easily.
I recommend starting off with an all white ensemble. So get some white trousers and a white shirt. These are items that you probably own already. If you don’t have white trousers then try and pick up something like a pair of cricket white. White jeans won’t really cut it for this outfit. One thing I am pretty sure you will not own is a white groin guard. This is usually something you would see a cricketer would wear however it is a vital part of the costume.
Bowler hats and canes feature prominently in the film so make sure to pick up one of each for this costume. White braces should be used to hold up the trousers and fake eyelashes should be worn.
